Memorable weekend

The last weekend was a rather memorable one for me. On Friday night from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM, I attended a trip with my fellow CIP students to the Berkshire Mall. While most of the other students went to see movies at the local Regal Cinemas, I chose to simply browse the malls and its shops, buying whatever caught my fancy. I bought a bunch of comic books from Jay St. Video Games, ate a sandwich at Subway, and had a banana split from the mall’s ice cream bar for dessert.

On Saturday, I had initially planned to go on the trip to the Nomads Adventure Quest arcade, but I had to be around for the first weekend shoot of the Playhouse’s forthcoming movie “Model UN“. It centers around a school club that simulates the United Nations, with students pretending to be the delegates of various UN Committees. The story focuses on a power struggle between factions of students. I am serving as the editor on the film with Patrick Toole being the director. The aim is to have film shoot, edited and ready for upcoming Berkshire Shorts Film Festival that will take place at the Spectrum Playhouse on May 2nd.

Saturday 8 Model UN Set 6AA

While they filmed “Model UN” scenes at CIP, I was in another room editing pieces for the movie that had been shot in the preceding weeks. It was a breezy day, and I was very pleased when the director order pizza for everyone at lunch.

Saturday 10 Empty Set 2AA

I also intended to partake in a Pool Tournament that my roommate True was going to host on Sunday night, but when dinner took longer than expects, those plans fell through. But regardless, I had a great weekend. Hope you got some fun as well!
