Writing Workshops

LaraTupperJoin this friendly summer gathering for writers of fiction or nonfiction. Workshop sessions will begin with brief writing exercises followed by time to share work in a supportive setting. Please bring a notebook and your lucky pen. Instructor Lara Tupper looks forward to hearing your good words.

Wednesdays, 7:00-9:00 pm, June 3 – July 29 (no class July 22).

Lara Tupper, MFA, is the author of A Thousand and One Nights (Harcourt and Untreed Reads), a novel about singers at sea, and Off Island, a fictional account of the life of Paul Gauguin. Her work has appeared in Writing Fire, Six-Word Memoirs on Love and Heartbreak, The Believer, fivechapters and other literary publications. A graduate of Wesleyan University (BA English) and the Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College (MFA Creative Writing), she taught at Rutgers University for nine years and now presents writing workshops throughout the Berkshires.
