Registration:
Prospective performers must check in prior to the event at the Spectrum Playhouse. Performers will have an opportunity to meet with the sound technician to go over song selection and other needs and engage in a sound check. Registration will run from 5:00 – 6:30PM and performers are encouraged to come as early as possible to allow individual time for everyone.
Performers should come prepared with two song choices that can be done acoustically or with a karaoke backing track. Acoustic instruments are encouraged. Performances begin at 7:00PM.
How to Compete on Friday, Sep. 20
Each performer will have a chance to perform two songs before a panel of three judges and live audience. At the end of the evening, the performers with the highest judges scores will be invited back for Round Two on Saturday Night. In order to be considered for the Final Round, performers must perform in Round One.
How to Compete on Saturday, Sep. 21
The final performers, as chosen from Friday Night, will each perform two songs before judges and live audience. At intermission, via Audience vote, a final three performers will be invited back on stage to perform a last song. After the final performances, the audience will vote to crown the new Lee Idol Champion! The event will close with a final performance by the winner.
Prizes: The Final Winner will be awarded a $100 cash prize.
Tickets: Performers may participate for free. Audience tickets are available for $5 each.
